It’s officially Autumn!
While Summer is my favourite season of all time, because it’s when I’m happiest, I’ve also got a real soft spot for Autumn too. When the busyness of Summer comes to an end, there’s so much to look forward to. As the seasons slowly begin to change, the air gets cooler (I can start wearing scarves again, which are probably my favourite clothing accessories), the colour of the leaves turn from greens to gorgeous oranges and browns, and a favourite seasonal drink makes a return.
I’m going to be embracing the way of slow living these next few months, but I always need things to look forward to in the near future. So when I was thinking about what I could plan, I came across an old post by Kristin, who has guest posted on this blog before, about creating a realistic fall bucket list.
The idea behind creating a ‘realistic’ list ensures that you get the best out of the season without doing too much or feeling like you’ve missed out if you don’t manage to do everything. I absolutely loved this idea! Since I’m very partial to a list and a challenge, I was inspired to create my own. I’ve created a Summer bucket list before, but I’ve never done so for any other season, so it’s a fun to mix things up.
I’ve put together a bucket list of ten things to achieve during Autumn. It will be a good way to spend my weekends now that things at home are quietening down a little. I can do them on my own, with Joel and with friends.
