My favourite month of the year is finally here! Hello, October.
I love setting goals out for the month ahead but recently I’ve been lacking. So I’ve gone back to the basics. I’m not reviewing any past goals and this month, I’m setting easy, intentional goals to ease myself back in.
Make a self-care checklist | I did this twice at the start of the year and loved it, but stopped when I lost my blogging mojo. Now that Autumn is settling in, I’m going to take great pleasure in some self-care evenings.
Prepare for NaNoWriMo | National Novel Writing Month is throughout the month of November and ever since a friend from uni took part in it last year, I knew I wanted to do it this year. I’ll be preparing what I want to write and planning in time to do that.
Plan out all my Christmas shopping | Please don’t shoot me! I want to be extra prepared this year, particularly as Joel and I are buying joint gifts for our families and friends. I’m going to plan out and put away money for everyone’s gifts in October and then purchase everything in November.
Read and comment on one blog post per week | At least one, if not more! I’ve started reading blog posts again and I want to commit to showing support for bloggers by leaving intentional comments on their posts. I’ve also recently discovered some great new blogs through Instagram, so I want to make some time to check those out! I’m aiming to do this once a week, but hopefully, I’ll get into the habit of doing it more.
