Hi, friends! This week, for the third time ever, I’m bringing you my list of happy things from the week before. You might have noticed some changes here on The Happy Journal over the weekend. Yes, I bought a new theme and a new font. I’m so pleased with the way it’s turned out and I hope you’ll love the altered look. This week I challenged myself to work really hard and decided to treat myself to these things should I fulfil that. I did.
I can’t lie, this week hasn’t been the best. It’s been stressful and overwhelming. But because I’m being intentionally positive, I’m looking back this week at the good things that have happened. Even if they seem few and far between, they are still there.
I ended up taking a little break from blogging this week, only posting once, because I’ve been so busy with university. But I love that I’ve got my ‘happy journal’ to keep you updated on all things life. If you missed the first volume of the ‘happy journal’, you can catch up here.

When I was struggling to stay positive and happy, I started a ‘happy journal’ to encourage myself. I have since then recovered from those particularly dark days, but I’m still prone to these overwhelming feelings from time to time.
I’ve been feeling quite down about my blog for a while. Does it look good? Is the name okay? Why am I not as good as the other bloggers I follow? All these questions have been haunting the back of my mind for a while now. I actually need to take a leaf out of Hey There Chelsie’s book because her new blog mission is to encourage women to love themselves and their blogs. My blog is an expression of myself and all that I stand for, so I should be proud of it. I’ve also got my trusty friend Autumn to keep me in check and I love turning to her when I need to hear a voice of reason. Her honesty and support are so invaluable.
