Last year I started a series here called #FearlessFriday and it remains to this day to be one of my favourite things I’ve done on this blog. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s where people have been sharing their testimonies of salvation, redemption and grace. As Christians, we should be excited to share our stories of how God moves in our lives but I’ve found that we rarely are. So I decided to start this series, and challenge my Christian friends to be fearless, to open up and become vulnerable to hopefully encourage someone else.
It’s been a while but today I’m absolutely thrilled to have Kaitlan share her testimony. Kaitlan is part of my church family and knew me before I decided to give my life to Jesus so I hope that she can testify to how much I’ve changed over the past few years! As I’ve gone from unbeliever to youth leader (yes, God can change the most unlikely hearts) it’s been a joy seeing Kaitlan growing in her faith too.
She’s going to share how God has taught her to let go of the things in life holding her back and allow Him to work in her.
It’s a little late but I am so glad that #FearlessFriday is back! If you’re not sure what it is, head here first. This week’s submission is from my dear friend, Lorna. I lived with Lorna for two years at university and know that giving a testimony was always a big deal for her. I’m so glad that she decided to share her story today and I hope that you find encouragement from it!
It’s my favourite time of the week, #FearlessFriday. Today’s post is from a blogging friend of mine, Kristin, who blogs at The Peculiar Treasure. I asked her to share her testimony on my blog for your encouragement.
It’s my favourite time of the week, #FearlessFriday, where I share my friends’ testimonies on my blog. I love this guest posting series and I always find it really encourage to read everyone’s unique stories. Today, my housemate Lorna is sharing about how she began fixing her heart on God in her first year of university.
It’s Friyay and time for another #FearlessFriday! I love this series so much and I’m so thrilled to be able to have testimonies from my Christian friends near and far shared on this little space on the internet. As I say every week, every testimony is so special and unique which is awesome because we get to see the many ways that God works through His children.
Today’s testimony is from my good friend Karl, who was the unfortunate person I projected a lot of my silly questions onto when I was first exploring Christianity myself. He has seen me transition from my most unbelieving ways to a Christ-seeking woman that I hope I am today, so he has played a big part of my journey.
Hello! It’s been very quiet on the blog recently but I hope to change that soon. Hang in there!
I’m very pleased to tell you today that my good blogging buddy Autumn from It’s Autumn is sharing her story on THJ for #FearlessFriday! Hooray!
I think I say this every time, but I am absolutely loving having my friends all share their unique stories of salvation, redemption and grace to encourage YOU. Everybody has something different to share and today Autumn is speaking on her struggle for having a testimony that is worthy and impactful.
It’s been a while hasn’t it? I’m sorry about that. I had a crazy few weeks at university (I feel like I say that a lot but hey, it’s my final year, it’s going to be full-time crazy is it not?) In fact, I’ve had a very welcome break from blogging while I’ve been devoting my time to coursework and now it’s the holidays, I’m hoping to get more organised and execute all this content that I’ve been planning.
I’m back with my beloved #FearlessFriday series after a short break and just in time for, arguably, the most important event in the Christian calendar. It is finished!
It’s Friyay, so you know what that means! It’s time for #FearlessFriday, where every Friday I’m sharing one of my friends’ stories of salvation, redemption and grace to encourage and challenge you. You can sign up to share your testimony here, as I’d love for you to join this fearless movement of ours. You can also catch up on the first two testimonies from Sarah and Phillip if you haven’t read their amazing stories already!
Today, this beautiful testimony comes from one of my dearest friends, Jonny.
Hi, friends. Welcome to the second installment of #FearlessFriday, where I’m sharing my friends’ stories of salvation, redemption and grace for your encouragement and conviction. If you missed Phillip’s testimony last Friday, you can find it here. Today’s testimony is from a dear friend of mine, Sarah, who speaks on the subject of forgiveness.
Today I have something a little different for you. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how as Christians, we should be excited and honoured to be able to share our stories of salvation, redemption and grace with our friends, Christian or otherwise, but we very rarely are. We have good news, so why are we so reluctant to share it? I have felt convicted to use this blog to share how God has been moving in my life and in the lives of my friends to hopefully bring some new perspective and encouragement to others.
So then I knew I wanted to share my friends stories, but I wasn’t sure how to label it. I thought back to conversations with one of my closest friends, Sarah, who was the person that made me question why Christians were so reluctant to share their testimonies with one another in the first place. The more I thought about it, the more that I realised we need to be: fearless.
