The last time I made a goals post was April. Now it’s July. Woah.
I’m in a little bit of a limbo-type situation this month, having just finished university and adjusting to life back home. I’m back at work full time now and I’m trialling for a senior sales position to get myself back on my feet. When you’ve only got £15 to last you the month, work is necessary!
While I haven’t got any university work to keep me busy, I am finding that I don’t have much spare time because my time management isn’t great. What I want to try and do is be intentional with my time. One way I can do this is by setting myself goals for July.
How are we halfway through 2016 already? So much has already happened this year and I can’t wait for the next six months. Back in January, I made some long term goals for the year in addition to my monthly goals. Today, I’m revisiting those goals to see how I’ve been getting on and to help myself create an action plan for the remaining months of 2016.
How are we a quarter of the way through 2016 already? This past month has been so busy for me and I don’t think that April is going to be any different as it’s very full on at university. I’ve planned this month’s goals so that I can be more intentional as I plan my time. But first, let’s review last month’s goals.
If you read my Currently post, then you’ll know that my January has not been the best. As my grandma put it in a card she sent with a surprise parcel, I have ‘January-itis’ and it’s apparently quite common this time of the year. I completely lost motivation for all things university, saw a huge decrease in my overall mood and well-being, and to top the end of the month, I received an email about my low attendance to one of my modules. Oops. But Jesus forgives us, right? We’re allowed to start again?
I love sharing goals on my blog. Not only does it create accountability, but it also allows me to look back at all the things I’ve achieved and those things that I still need to strive for. Today, I’m sharing some of my goals for the year ahead.
